Galaxy Tab Pro line of slates in 12.2″, 10.1″ and 8.4″ flavor at CES 2014 – all sporting the impressive 2560 x 1600 screen resolution and all having LCD displays.Despite running Android, the devices come with a Windows 8-style tile interface called "Magazine UX," which Samsung says is better optimized for large screens. The usual Samsung accoutrements like split-screen apps and floating windows are present, which should be even more useful on such a huge screen.Sitting at the heart is a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, offering 4G LTE connectivity, or a 3G version with a Samsung Exynos 5 Octa chipset. The loadout you'll get will depend on the market you're buying the tablet in. There's 3GB or RAM to keep things racing along.
You also get the choice of 32/64GB of internal storage in addition to the microSD card slot supporting up to 64GB cards. There's an 8-megapixel camera around the back, partnered with a 2 megapixel on the front.
There's a 9500mAh battery in the 12.2, which should provide plenty of life.Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and a microSD Slot. The big internal differences between devices are the battery and RAM. The 12.2-inch device has 3GB of RAM and a 9500 mAh battery. The 10.1-inch TabPro has 2GB of RAM and an 8220 mAh battery, and the 8.4-inch version has 2GB of RAM and a 4800 mAh battery.
